Abstract

A method for processing a multi-channel audio signal may be configured to control the amplitude of two channels relative to one channel based on the levels of the other channel of the signal. One such example uses a bias factor for amplitude control of the information segment of the signal, the bias factor being based on a standard orientation of the audio sensing device relative to a source of directional acoustic information.
