The invention discloses the greeting robot system. A robot of the greeting robot system has the function of face identification so as to be capable of identifying the old and new clients, has the powerful autonomous obstacle avoidance function so as to be capable of guiding the guests, and has the function of man-machine conversation so as to be capable of having man-machine conversation with a user. In addition, the user also can look up the menu information and autonomously order dishes by a liquid crystal display (LCD) and a touch screen which are arranged on the robot, and the information of the ordered dishes can be sent into a kitchen and a checkout counter through the remote interactive platform, so that the function of ordering the dishes in a wireless way can be realized.
