Embodiment Construction

[0032] The preferred implementation method of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0033] figure 1 A flow chart of the multi-exposure image fusion method based on the subband structure of the present invention is provided, and its main steps are as follows:

[0034] (1) Input a set of image sequences I with different exposure degrees about the same scene N (x, y), N is the number of input images;

[0035] (2) Use a set of odd length QMF (Quadrature Mirror Filter, quadrature mirror filter) as the analysis filter bank, specifically,

Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-exposure image fusion method based on a sub-band structure. The method comprises the following steps: decomposing an input image into a group of sub-band images by a QMF (quadrature mirror filter) group serving as an analysis filter group; modifying the sub-band images with a weight graph; performing fusion based on the sub-band images to obtain the fused sub-bandimages; modifying the new sub-band images with a gain control graph; and finally, processing the sub-band images with a comprehensive filter group of a structure symmetrical with that of the analysisfilter group, and obtaining the fused result graph through a reconstruction process. The method can be automatically finished without manual intervention and can maintain details of the input image and enhance the contrast; and the obtained result image is more approximate to the real world scene which is directly observed by human eyes.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an image fusion method, in particular to a multi-exposure image fusion method based on a subband structure, and belongs to the field of digital image processing. Background technique [0002] Multi-exposure image fusion refers to the fusion of a set of image sequences with different exposure levels about the same scene into a high-quality composite image. The dynamic range of a digital camera (the ratio of the maximum brightness to the minimum brightness of a pixel in an image) is limited, which is lower than the real-world dynamic range (100000000:1). In high dynamic range scenes, photos taken with digital cameras are often underexposed or overexposed. Multi-exposure image fusion is a technique designed to address this problem, with which high dynamic range images can be generated. The principle of multi-exposure image fusion technology is consistent with that of traditional image fusion technology. Therefore, like tradition...
