Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic book typesetting method. The method comprises the following steps of: opening a Word document as a typesetting template in advance; defining a style in the template and a book content style mapping table; opening a blank Word document, opening the typesetting template, and duplicating all styles in the typesetting template into the blank Word document; duplicating the text of the book to the text of the blank Word document according to a sequence by using a paragraph as a unit until the document contents of the text are completely duplicated to the text ofthe blank Word document; searching content control components on a cover, a head page and a copyright page, and setting true information of the current book to the content control components at the cover, the head page and the copyright page to obtain a typesetting result document; and storing the typesetting result into a Word or PDF (Portable Document Format) document to complete automatic typesetting. The invention provides the automatic book typesetting method and an automatic book typesetting system which are used for realizing typesetting automation, so that the problem of complicated typesetting rule processing is solved.
