Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a timing tracking processing method and device for an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system. The method comprises the steps of carrying out FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) on received data through an FFT window to obtain a frequency domain signal; judging whether the quality of the frequency domain signal is higher than a threshold; maintaining the position of the FFT window if the quality of the frequency domain signal is not higher than the threshold; and adjusting the position of the FFT window if the quality of the frequency domain signal is higher than the threshold. By using the method and device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the position of the FFT window is adjusted and protected according to whether channel quality is good or not so that the timing tracking reliability of the OFDM system can be improved.
