Embodiment Construction

[0020] image 3 An exemplary embodiment of a circuit arrangement according to the invention is shown schematically. This example basically corresponds to the figure 2 A sketch with initial considerations is shown in , making the reference figure 2 The reference numbers introduced are used for image 3 The embodiment shown in and will not be described again.

[0021] and figure 2 view is different in image 3 In the embodiment of the circuit arrangement according to the invention shown in , a diode D1 or D2 is inserted between point K and the corresponding voltage divider RL11, RL12 or RL21, RL22 respectively, wherein the corresponding diode D1, D2 is arranged as This enables only a current flow from the dimming keyer DIM in the direction of the corresponding voltage divider RL11 , RL12 or RL21 , RL22 . Thus, effectively preventing the balance current I a flow (see figure 2 ). Only current flows from the switch line to the corresponding voltage divider I s It's st...

Abstract

#CMT# # / CMT# The arrangement has a processing device (Va1) comprising an electronic ballast (EVG1) that is coupled with rectifier output terminals (GND), where potential at one of output terminals represents reference potential for the ballast. A dimming signal input connector (K) is coupled with an input terminal. Potential dividers (RL11, RL12) are coupled in series between the input terminal and the output terminal such that a tap point (A1) of the dividers is coupled with a dimming input (St1) of the ballast. A diode (D1) is coupled in series between the input terminal and the dividers. #CMT#USE : # / CMT# Circuit arrangement for operating a light source i.e. street light. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : # / CMT# The arrangement avoids the occurrence of interference despite of use of two phases of the three-phase network for the supply of electronic ballasts. The arrangement avoids the need for costly relays and requires only a switching spacer, thus reducing wiring expenditure and preventing flow of circulating current and occurrence of unwanted dimming and flashing effects. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : # / CMT# The drawing shows a schematic circuit diagram of a circuit arrangement for operating a light source. A1 : Tap point of potential dividers D1 : Diode EVG1 : Electronic ballast GND : Rectifier output terminal K : Dimming signal input connector RL11, RL12 : Potential dividers St1 : Dimming input of electronic ballast Va1 : Processing device.

Description

field of invention [0001] The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for operating at least one luminous means. The circuit arrangement is described using the example of street lighting, however, as is obvious to a person skilled in the art, the circuit arrangement can also be used in other fields. Background technique [0002] in this regard, figure 1 A circuit arrangement known from the prior art for street lighting is shown. In this case, the rectifier GL1 is connected on the input side to the first phase L1 of the three-phase power supply network and to the neutral line of the three-phase power supply network. The output of rectifier GL1 is coupled for power supply to electronic ballast EVG1 , which for its part supplies at least one luminaire La1 . Taking the mentioned street lighting as an example, the lamp power is often reduced at night in order to save energy. Switching lines with network potential are used for this. In this case, a signal is generated by m...
