A camera at the head of the robot shoots the current whole action image of a user, the signal of the whole action image is identified, a signal conversion system is used for converting the signal of the whole action image into a digital signal and transmitting the digital signal to a main control chip of the robot, and the main control chip is used for judging the digital signal and executing the instruction. The method can be used for controlling the robot to complete multiple tasks for the user. The robot comprises a head, arms, a trunk, legs and the like, and has rich degrees of freedom; and the camera at the head of the robot inputs the current image of the user, and then an identification device is used for identifying the positions of user hands in the image so that the robot is controlled to read corresponding loci and complete corresponding functions.
