The invention discloses a method for measuring the content of glyphosate isopropylamine salt by utilizing an infrared attenuate total reflection spectrometry, which is characterized by comprising the following steps: placing a glyphosate isopropylamine salt aqueous solution on ATR (attenuated total reflectance) crystals; collecting the infrared attenuate total reflection spectrum of the glyphosate isopropylamine salt aqueous solution; using the absorption peak in the position 1321cm-1 as a characteristic peak; and measuring the content of the glyphosate isopropylamine salt by adopting a standard curve method according to the peak area value. The method disclosed by the invention can be rapid, simple and convenient to quantitatively analyze the content of the glyphosate isopropylamine salt, does not need to carry out the preprocessing such as derivatization and the like and has the advantages of wide detection linear range and accurate and reliable result.
