The networking method is characterized in that a sensor gateway, sensor cluster heads and sensor nodes are connected by a WiFi point-to-point technology and jointly form a tree network structure used for sensor network data communication; the sensor gateway is the root node of the tree network structure and serves as an interface for connecting the sensor network and an external network; as the intermediate nodes of the tree network structure, the sensor cluster heads can be divided into a plurality of levels; and the leaf nodes of the tree network structure are the common sensor nodes. By adopting the scheme in the invention, the WiFi sensor nodes can form the large-scale wireless broadband sensor network through the rapid ad hoc network scheme under the condition of not having the pre-deployed and completely covered WiFi network so as to provide real-time sensor network services for various industries under various environmental conditions.
