Abstract

The invention discloses a method of inspecting a testing device and a method of establishing measured variables of the testing device. In order to establish the illumination intensity of the test device, the test plate is installed in the test device. Next, the width of the frequency histogram of the captured image acquired by the camera of the inspection device is adjusted so as to avoid dark and bright areas. Thereafter, by adjusting the frequency histogram to near the middle of the graph, the illumination intensity of the inspection device is adjusted. Thus, the setting time of inspection conditions stored in the job file can be shortened to increase user convenience, and measurement errors caused by erroneous setup can be reduced to improve inspection accuracy.
