When the clamping type horizontal electrode rack is used, graphite electrodes are loaded, the adjusting gear is clockwise or anticlockwise rotated, and the graphite electrodes which are arranged in the U-shaped electrode guide grooves on the guide groove transverse beam can move forward or backward.
