Abstract

Provided is a method for manufacturing the tube joint for a soft tube, reducing the machining process, thus to limit the time for machining process. The invention, by taking an intermediate formed product composed of integrally formed projection, jack part, heat part, and neck part made of same material as the raw material, carries out cold plasticity treatment over the projection part to form a tube-like joint part. The shaft hole of the joint part is extended to the head part side. The excess material generated by the forming of the joint part and the extension of the shaft hole is utilized. The neck part is allowed to extensively deform along the direction where the head part is made to be away from the jack part, with the deformation to other directions being banned. To make the pre-formed intermediate formed product having the size necessary for the tube joint of the soft tube after deformation, the size of the pre-formed intermediate formed product is smaller than the necessary size for tube joint of the soft tube. The shaft hole is arranged at the neck part having size smaller than the external diameter of the jack. Therefore, the plasticity treatment can be utilized to open a shaft hole. As the excess material generated during the forming of the joint part and the arrangement of the shaft hole is utilized to the shifting of the head part, the objective is achieved.
