Abstract

The invention relates to a capacitive touch panel, which comprises a touch detection array, shared scanning lines, independent scanning lines and a driving control module. The touch detection array comprises a plurality of rows of first direction detection units and a plurality of lines of second direction detection units, wherein the first direction detection units are divided into a first group and a second group which are staggered at intervals. The shared scanning lines are respectively connected with one row of the first direction detection units of the first group and one line of the second direction detection units. The independent scanning lines are respectively connected with one row of the first direction detection units disconnected with the shared scanning line and one line of the second direction detection units. The driving control module is connected with the shared scanning lines and the independent scanning lines, so that the shared scanning lines and the independent scanning lines are used for scanning the touch detection array, and then touch input is detected. The invention further discloses a touch detection method.
