Embodiment Construction

[0030] The best examples for carrying out the present invention are shown below. The scope of the present invention should be determined based on the description of the scope of the claims, with reference to the description in the specification and known technologies in the field, and based on the understanding of those skilled in the art.

[0031] Figure 1 to Figure 6 The crane system 2 of the embodiment is shown in , but it can also be applied to a rail trolley system traveling on the ground or a trackless unmanned conveyor system. In each figure, 4 is an inter-bay route, 6 is an intra-bay route, 8 is a charging bay route, 10 is a maintenance bay route, and 12 is a shortcut provided, for example, on routes 4 and 6 . The cross-bay route 4 connects the inter-bay routes 6 and 6, and the crane can run on all routes 4-10. In addition, the charging bay route 8 and the maintenance bay route 10 may be used in combination. In addition, on a part of the cross-bay path 4 and the in...

Abstract

The present invention provides a transportation vehicle system and a charging method for the transportation vehicle system. A plurality of transportation vehicles travel along a predetermined travel route under control of a ground controller. Each of the traveling vehicles is configured to travel using an energy storage member as a power supply. A charging area having charging equipment for charging the energy storage member of the transportation vehicle is provided in the travel route. Each of the transportation vehicles reports a position and remaining capacity of the energy storage member to the ground controller. The ground controller controls a transportation vehicle having remaining capacity of a threshold value or less to travel to the charging area for charging the energy storage member. Further, the ground controller controls transportation vehicles in the charging area to travel to positions outside the charging area in accordance with transportation requests.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a transport vehicle system, and more particularly to a system for a transport vehicle running on a secondary battery. Background technique [0002] The rechargeable secondary battery is mounted on a crane, an undercarriage, an unmanned transport vehicle, etc., and serves as an on-board power source. Regarding this point, Patent Document 1 (JPH05-207611A) proposes to install a battery replacement machine to replace the battery of the crane. However, for a transportation vehicle system using a secondary battery, a system capable of accurately managing the remaining capacity of the battery and minimizing the loss time caused by charging the transportation vehicle is required. Contents of the invention [0003] An object of the present invention is to provide a system capable of efficiently charging transport vehicles. [0004] The present invention provides a transport vehicle system, which enables a plurality of trans...
