Abstract

The invention provides a device for monitoring components in a server. The device comprises an acquisition module, a processing module and an indication module, wherein the acquisition module is used for sensing the components in the server and transmitting sensing information with a sensed vibration parameter; the processing module is used for receiving the sensing information from the acquisition module, comparing the vibration parameter with a vibration threshold and transmitting the result information with a comparison result; and the indication module is used for receiving the result information from the processing module and indicating diagnostic information related to the components according to the comparison result. By utilizing the device for monitoring the components in the server, disclosed by the invention, fan vibration can be monitored in real time in the operation peroid of the server, damages to the hard disk even the server due to the overlarge vibration of the fan are avoided, and better working environment is provided for the hard disk, therefore stability and completeness of hard disk data are ensured, and safe and stable operation of a server system are further ensured.
