Abstract

The invention discloses a starting system of an aboard self-contained engine of a crane in a low temperature environment. The starting system comprises an aboard hydraulic system provided with an aboard hydraulic oil pump, a hydraumatic auxiliary start-up system with a hydraumatic auxiliary starting motor, a pressure oil source for providing power to the hydraumatic start-up system, and a control valve used for controlling the hydraumatic auxiliary starting motor. The invention discloses a starting method of the aboard self-contained engine of the crane in the low temperature environment. The starting system and method provided by the invention have the beneficial effects that even in a place which lacks of resources in the low environmental temperature, the aboard self-contained engine can be started up without spending a good deal of manpower and material resources and time; only one person can finish starting the aboard self-contained engine in the low temperature environment without consuming external resources; and only the crane can rapidly, smoothly, securely finish starting of the aboard engine.
