Abstract

The invention provides a variable-capacitance sensor for monitoring surface corrosion of an aluminum alloy, comprising an insulating outer cover with an opening at the top end, wherein the sensor is internally divided into upper, middle and lower three layers; each layer of the sensor is composed of an insulating medium plate and a corroded aluminum alloy layer which is adhered to the insulating medium plate; a lead wire is leaded out from the corroded aluminum alloy layer and the lead wire respectively passes through holes on an insulating plate. The manufacturing method of the variable-capacitance sensor comprises the following steps of: firstly, manufacturing the insulating medium plate and drilling a region at the center of the insulating medium plate; and then manufacturing the corroded aluminum alloy layer to lead the lead wire out of the corroded aluminum alloy layer to be assembled; sealing each gap of the sensor by silicon rubber; and obtaining an area with corrosion losses by the change of the capacitance according to a working principle of a variable area type capacitance sensor. The sensor provided by the invention has the advantages of simple structure, convenience for installation, high reliability; and according to the sensor, the real-time online monitoring on the surface of an aluminum alloy material is realized, and the requirements on monitoring and evaluating the aluminum alloy corrosion are met.
