The electric power-assisted steering system is safe and reliable, and has high cost performance. During working, the auxiliary MCU is used for monitoring the operation conditions of various key algorithm modules in the electronic control unit, and when the key algorithm or relevant hardware is failed, the auxiliary MCU informs the main MCU to cut off the assistance or close the failed algorithm modules.
