Abstract

The invention provides a flexible electronic device and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method includes forming a first layer on a substrate to define a first area and a second area surrounding the first area and to expose the substrate in the first area partly, wherein the first layer is in the second area; forming a second layer on the first layer above the first area and the second area, thus the adhesion force between the second layer and the substrate in the first area is weaker than that between the second layer and the first layer in the second area; forming an electronic device on the second layer above the first area, EDL defining a border which projects in the first area; and separating the EDL with the substrate in a manner of cutting through the first layer and the second layer along the border. The border is in the first area and is not shorter than the border.
