The backlight module has arranged within a light guide plate (20) thereof a hollow structure (22), comprising a first reflective face (221) and a second reflective face (222). The first reflective face (221) is arranged at a first inclination angle (beta1); the second reflective face (222) is arranged at a second inclination angle (beta2). With the first inclination angle (beta1), a light emitted towards the first reflective face (221) is reflected by the first reflective face (221). With the second inclination angle (beta2), the light emitted towards the second reflective face (222) is reflective by the second reflective face (222). The hollow structure allows the light to be provided with a scattering effect, and prevents the phenomenon of uneven brightness and darkness.
