According to the testing device and the testing method for the battery impact, the testing rod does not move during a battery impact test by fixing the bracket and the testing rod and limiting the bracket in the spacing hole of the testing platform, so that testing is convenient and the test results are accurate; and the testing rod does not move, so that the testing rod does not need to be adjusted, and the testing efficiency is improved.
