Problems solved by technology

This method obtains the weighted average formula under the maximum likelihood estimation framework, and defines the calculation formula of the block weight, and gradually modifies the prior information through an iterative method, and finally converges to the best speckle removal result. When removing speckles, there will be distortion of the edges and loss of texture details

Embodiment Construction

[0022] refer to figure 1 , the specific implementation process of the present invention is as follows:

[0023] Step 1. Carry out 3 layers of wavelet transform to the input SAR image A with the window of M×M, extract the wavelet image texture feature e of the input SAR image A;

[0024] e = 1 M × M Σ i = 1 M Σ j = 1 M | coef ( i , j ) | ,

[0025] Among them, M×M is the size of the sliding window, where M=4 is taken, and coef(i,j) is the coefficient value of row i and column j in the stationary wavelet subband.

[0026] Step 2. Use the wavelet image texture feature e of image...

Abstract

The invention discloses an SAR (synthetic aperture radar) image despeckle method based on target extraction and a PPB (probabilistic patch-based filter) algorithm, and mainly solves the problems that the existing SAR image despeckle method fail to well restrain speckle noise and loses part of edge vein information. The method includes the steps of firstly, performing extraction of wavelet vein feature of an image to an input SAR image; secondly, performing K-means clustering to the image by utilizing the extracted wavelet vein feature of the image; thirdly, extracting and removing a target image of the input SAR image according to a clustering tag; fourthly, performing despeckle to the target image by means of a wavelet hard threshold; fifthly, performing despeckle to an image after the target image is removed by the PPB algorithm; and sixthly, adding the image despeckled by the wavelet hard threshold and the image despeckled by the PPB algorithm to acquire a final despeckled image. The method is effective in despeckle in a homogeneous region and can be used for SAR image target identification and target detection. In addition, by the method, the edge vein information is kept intact.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of image processing, in particular to a speckle removal method, which can be applied to target recognition and target detection in SAR images. Background technique [0002] Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a high-resolution imaging radar. It has all-weather, multi-polarization, multi-view, multi-depression angle data acquisition capabilities and the ability to penetrate some ground objects. It is not only widely used in military affairs, but also in agriculture. There are also a large number of civilian applications such as meteorology, topography, and disaster monitoring. However, because SAR emits coherent waves, these coherent waves undergo coherent effects with ground objects, especially the backscattering effects of ground objects, and attenuate the target echo signal. This attenuation is manifested as speckle noise on the image. Speckle noise is multiplicative and locally correlated. Its existence se...
