Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides a driving circuit and a liquid crystal display (LCD) television and relates to the electronic technology field. In the prior art, cost for setting an electronic device of the driving circuit is high. By using the driving circuit and the LCD television of the invention, the above technology problem is solved. The driving circuit comprises a voltage input terminal, a coupling module connected with the voltage input terminal and a rectification module connected with the coupling module. The coupling module is used to receive a current according with a total working voltage of two power consumption modules from the voltage input terminal and convert to the current according with the working voltage of one power consumption module. The rectification module is used to input the current according with the working voltage of one power consumption module to the two power consumption modules which are connected in series respectively so as to provide power for the power consumption modules. The LCD television comprises the two power consumption modules and the driving circuit in the embodiment of the invention. The driving circuit is used to provide power for the power consumption modules. The each power consumption module is formed by one channel LED light bar or two or more channel LED light bars which are connected in series. The driving circuit and the LCD television of the invention are used to reduce the cost of the driving circuit.
