The invention relates to a method for improving the partitioned halation of an LED (Light Emitting Diode) backlight source and a control device thereof; the method comprises the following steps: carrying out partitioned statistics according to RGB (Red, Green and Blue) image data, and extracting the calculated value of the partitioned backlight brightness; carrying out neighborhood smooth processing on the calculated value of each partitioned backlight to generate the output value of the backlight brightness; and transmitting the output value of the backlight brightness to a backlight drive module, and driving the LED to be lightened. The device comprises a partitioned backlight value extracting module, a backlight value processing module and a backlight source driving module which are in communication connection in sequence so as to realize the method. In the invention, overlarge brightness difference between adjacent backlight zones is prevented through the smoothing processing on the backlight partition so that the brightness transition of the backlight zone is gentler; therefore, the partitioned halation problem of an LED backlight liquid crystal television can be effectively improved. Simultaneously, the scheme has less influence on the decreasing of brightness without influencing the display effect.

A resonant DC / AC inverter includes a DC power source providing a DC voltage, a half-bridge power switch circuit electrically connected to the DC power source being operative to convert the DC voltage to an AC voltage, a resonant tank electrically connected between an output of the half-bridge power switch circuit and an input of a load being operative to boost and filter the AC voltage to generate an AC power voltage supplied to the load, and a controller being operative to detect a magnitude of current in the load and a magnitude of a voltage across the load and to generate pulse waveforms for turning on and off the half-bridge power switch circuit, wherein the controller substantially instantaneously varies a frequency of the pulse waveforms and a duty cycle of the pulse waveforms so as to operate the resonant DC / AC inverter near a neighborhood of a resonant frequency of the resonant tank regardless of a conduction state of the load and improve the efficiency of the inverter regardless of the higher DC voltage applied to the inverter. Particularly, the resonant DC / AC inverter utilizes a piezoelectric transformer to supply power to a fluorescent lamp which is wildly employed in display panels and is extensively used to provide backlighting for liquid crystal displays (LCDs), especially for backlighting LCD monitors and LCD televisions.

The power circuit structure comprises a rectifying circuit, a PFC (Power Factor Correction) backlight drive circuit, a PF (Power Factor) value correction inductor and a flyback circuit, wherein the rectifying circuit is used for receiving alternating-current input, rectifying the alternating-current input and then outputting a first direct-current voltage; the PFC backlight drive circuit is electrically connected with the rectifying circuit so as to receive the first direct-current voltage and is used for carrying out PF correction on the first direct-current voltage so as to output a second direct-current voltage to supply power to a backlight source and carrying out constant-current control on the backlight source; the PF value correction inductor is electrically connected with the rectifying circuit to receive the first direct-current voltage and output a third direct-current voltage; and the flyback circuit is electrically connected with the PF value correction inductor to receive the third direct-current voltage and output a fourth direct-current voltage so as to supply power to a load the power of which is lower than that of the backlight source. Therefore, according to the power circuit structure and the LED liquid crystal television, the purposes of reducing system cost and improving system efficiency and reliability are achieved at the same time as PF value and harmonic wave factor are ensured.
