Abstract

The invention relates to an electromagnetic power loss brake for wind power. The brake structurally comprises two tabular sizing blocks and electromagnetic brakes. The two tabular sizing blocks are used for being fixed at the same position of the upper surface and the lower surface of a wind-power fixing frame plate, and the electromagnetic brakes co-act on a wind-power brake disc on the upper surface and the lower surface of the wind-power brake disc. Each electromagnetic brake comprises an electromagnet, a brake spring in penetration connection into a shell of the electromagnet and a friction plate arranged on an armature of the electromagnet. Connecting plates laterally extending outward are made on the shells of the electromagnets and are arranged on the sizing blocks, and gap adjusting and fixing mechanisms are arranged between the connecting plates and the sizing blocks. Adjustment of brake gaps of the upper electromagnetic brake and the lower electromagnetic brake is simple and convenient and does not mutually influence, change and adjustment of deflection angles of brake surfaces are achieved, and accordingly the huge problem of adjustment of an upper brake gap and a lower brake gap of the existing hydraulic wind-power brake is solved.
