The invention discloses an intelligent switch which is used for controlling at least one power supply of electric equipment connected with the intelligent switch. The intelligent switch comprises a storage unit, an electric energy sensing unit and a processor, wherein the storage unit is used for storing an ID of the electric equipment and a preset power utilization power range of a power supply to be cut off; the electric energy sensing unit is used for sensing real-time power utilization information of the electric equipment; the processor comprises a control module and a judging module; and the judging module is used for finding the preset power utilization power range of the power supply to be cut off, corresponding to the ID, from the storage unit according to the ID of the electric equipment, and judging whether the real-time power utilization power of the electric equipment is in the preset power utilization power range of the power supply to be cut off, corresponding to the ID, and if the real-time power utilization power of the electric equipment is in the preset power utilization power range of the power supply to be cut off, corresponding to the ID, the control module controls the power supply of the electric equipment to be cut off.
