Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides voice prompt playing method and MCU (microcontroller unit) device for a conference system. The method includes: subjecting decoded conference voice signals to VAD (voice activity detection) to determine whether the conference voice signals are phonetically activated or not; and if the decoded conference voice signals subjected to VAD are not phonetically activated, mixing the decoded conference voice signals with prompt voice signals to obtain mixed voice signals. By the method and device, when prompt voice is played during a conference, such cases that normal speaking of a user is interrupted or is disturbed due to improper volume are avoided.
