Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a feedback method and equipment of high speed dedicated physical control channels (HS-DPCCHs). The method comprises the following steps of: transmitting patterns in feedback formats to user equipment (UE) from a network side by a base station; and receiving channel status information sent by the UE via HS-DPCCHs according to the patterns in feedback formats to acquire pre-coding codebooks and ranks of the pre-coding codebooks by the base station, wherein the ranks of the pre-coding codebooks are used for executing pre-coding processing; the channel status information comprises first codebook information and second codebook information; the first codebook information comprises a pre-coding indicator (PCI) of a first codebook and rank indication (RI) of the first codebook; the second codebook information comprises a PCI of a second codebook and the RI of the second codebook; the PCI of the first codebook and the PCI of the second codebook are used for determining pre-coding codebooks finally used for channel pre-coding processing; and the RI of the first codebook and the RI of the second codebook are used for determining the ranks of the pre-coding codebooks. By using the technical scheme, accuracy of feedback information and reduction of feedback quantity in a system can be ensured.
