The invention provides a device for calibrating cut-off wavelength of a polarization maintaining optical fiber and solves the problem that wide spectral range polarized light which respectively measures the cut-off wavelength of fast and slow axes of the polarization maintaining optical fiber can not be generated in prior art. The device comprises a variable wavelength program control light source, a linear polarization polarizer, a counter axis coupling system, an optical fiber test table, a microstress optical fiber fixture, an optical fiber power meter and a computer, wherein the counter axis coupling system comprises a flange plate, a polarization maintaining optical fiber patch cord and a polarization maintaining optical fiber fusion splicer. According to the device, requirements of a special structure of the polarization maintaining optical fiber for measuring the cut-off wavelength are fully considered, output of the wide spectral range polarized light for measurement is achieved by taking targeted measures, the coupling problem of polarization maintaining optical fiber counter axes is solved, respective measurement of cut-off wavelength parameters of the fast and slow axes of the polarization maintaining optical fiber is achieved, and measurement accuracy is improved; and when the counter axis coupling system is not used, the device can be also used for measuring cut-off wavelength of a single mode fiber, and the whole calibration device is easy to operate and maintain and good in stability.
