The control method comprises the following steps of: alternately executing, by any node of the cluster, one of magnetic disk heartbeat, network heartbeat or serial port heartbeat or performing at least one network heartbeat process and one serial port heartbeat process between two magnetic disk heartbeat processes when a communication heartbeat mark is yes; performing magnetic disk heartbeat when the communication heartbeat mark is no; setting the communication heartbeat mark to be no when no node can detect the network heartbeat or the serial port heartbeat; determining, by any node, one of sectors unused by other nodes to be a sector to be used and determining other sectors except for the sector to be used by any node to be the sectors to be used by other nodes; and transmitting the heartbeat to the other nodes by any node by writing data into the sector to be used and acquiring heartbeat information of other nodes by reading other sectors.
