Problems solved by technology

In this example, the aforementioned general torque converter or torque sensor cannot be installed in the bicycle to detect or measure the force exerted by the rider.
[0004] Therefore, a major shortcoming of the current popular bicycle exercise, or whether it is a pedal or a hand-operated fitness machine, is that it cannot truly and correctly display the size and power of the user's effort, let alone calculate the actual amount of exercise of the athlete.

Abstract

The invention discloses a torsion inductor. The torsion inductor possesses one outer tube, one middle pipe and one inner shaft which mutually pass through in an axial direction. An elastic component is connected between one side of the middle pipe and the inner shaft and the elastic component can be extended to an outer side through a changeover mechanism. The other side of the middle pipe and the inner shaft are provided with a first sensing plate and a second sensing plate respectively. A detection unit can calculate rotational torsion born by the inner shaft or the middle pipe through detecting a change of a relative angle of the first sensing plate and the second sensing plate. The torsion inductor of the invention possesses a simple and reliable structure and a rapid and accurate induction ability. The torsion inductor can be applied to any rotating body which rotates through using an outer force. According to a measured result, the torsion inductor calculates input strength and power of the rotating body.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a torque sensor, especially a torque sensor capable of sensing the torsional force borne by a rotating shaft (middle tube or inner shaft). Background technique [0002] In general torque converters or torque sensors, one side must be in a static state in use, so it is impossible to detect the stress (torque or pressure) between two objects in simultaneous rotational motion. [0003] In fact, there are many situations where it is necessary to measure the torsion change of a rotating body, especially two moving bodies that rotate simultaneously. For example, when a human-driven bicycle is moving forward under force, the force of the rider pedaling on the pedal will be transmitted all the way to the connected components, and drive all the components to act together, and finally drive the rear wheel to rotate and move forward. In this example, the aforementioned general torque converter or torque sensor cannot be installed in the ...
