Abstract

The invention discloses an optical fiber grating water and soil interface sensor and a manufacturing and installation method thereof; and the optical fiber grating water and soil interface sensor comprises a fixed frame and a piezometer tube. The fixed frame plays the roles of protecting and fixing the piezometer tube; the piezometer tube comprises a tube body and a series of optical fiber grating sensing probes which are lined at intervals by the depth; the probes are of double-side structures, wherein the front sides of the probes bear water and soil pressure outside the tube and the back sides of the probes bear water pressure in the tube; the soil pressure on the outer side of the tube can be precisely measured by measuring the pressure difference between the front sides and the back sides; then the lateral oil pressure at different depths is subjected to fitting calculation; and finally the depth position of a water and soil interface is worked out. The optical fiber grating water and soil interface sensor is not interfered by water turbulence or soil transportation, the testing precision is high, and the scope of the measuring precision and measuring depths can be changed according to the use conditions and requirements; and according to the manufacturing and installation method, the optical fiber grating water and soil sensors can be implanted in a plurality of monitoring points, so that the monitoring to the erosion and sedimentation of an area is realized.
