Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for testing an audio port of handheld equipment. The method comprises the hollowing steps of: modulating initial checkout data, generating a test audio signal on the basis of the initial checkout data, sequentially outputting the test audio signal to the test equipment through a left channel and a right channel of the audio port and recording the initial checkout data by the handheld equipment; respectively generating a first audio signal and a second audio signal on the basis of the sequentially-received test audio signal and sequentially transmitting the first audio signal and the second audio signal to the handheld equipment by test equipment; and receiving the first audio signal and the second audio signal through a microphone channel, demodulating the first audio signal and the second audio signal which are sequentially received to respectively generate first checkout data and second checkout data and judging whether a corresponding channel of the audio port is normal or not by comparing whether the initial checkout data are consistent with the first checkout data or not and comparing whether the initial checkout data are consistent with the second checkout data or not by the handheld equipment.
