The video call image rectification method is characterized in that an encoding and decoding module is independent of the video call, replaces the method of conducting the adaptation of machine types one by one, lessens the developing difficulty and the maintaining difficulty and improves the compatibility of the rectification method. The rectification method is universal and extensible. The parameter of the turning angle is added on the displaying layer of the video call system. Before the video call image is output, the video image is turned according to the parameter and the video image is output to achieve the goal of rectifying the direction of the image.
