Abstract

The invention discloses an electronic brake system of a motor-driven cycling vehicle. The electronic brake control system comprises detection elements and an electronic control unit, wherein the detection elements are respectively carried by a left handle bar and a right handle bar of the motor-driven cycling vehicle, each detection element detects the operation of a corresponding brake crank, the electronic control unit is connected with each detection element in a mode through which the electronic control unit can distinguish the output signals from each detection element. Moreover, the electronic control unit is further connected with a motor of the motor-driven cycling vehicle to control the grading brake operation of the motor based on the output signals representing the operation of the brake crank from each detection element. The invention further discloses an electronic brake control method applied to the motor-driven cycling vehicle and a motor-driven cycling vehicle containing the electronic brake system or capable of performing the electronic brake control method. By means of the electronic brake system, the driving comfort and the safety of the motor-driven cycling vehicle are improved.
