Abstract

The accessory system comprises a vehicle speed acquisition device (100), a user setting device (101), an information receiving device (102), an overspeed warning device (103), and a speed-limiting control device (104) which acquires real time vehicle speed, user limitation vehicle speed and pavement limitation vehicle speed respectively from the vehicle speed acquisition device (100), the user setting device (101) and the information receiving device (102), and sets the lower one of the user limitation vehicle speed and the pavement limitation vehicle speed as an overspeed limitation threshold value, when the real time vehicle speed exceeds the overspeed limitation threshold value, overspeed is confirmed, under which the overspeed warning device is controlled to act so as to remind the driver of utilizing the accessory system and method provided by the invention, so that the driver is forced to slow down actively under the condition of not affecting the driver's driving.
