The method comprises the following steps of acquiring a first webpage and a second webpage which are to be compared; extracting element information in the first webpage and element information in the second webpage andcomparing the corresponding element information in the first webpage and the second webpage to obtain a Diff result; endowing the element information with different weights, and analyzing the Diff result according to weight statistics to acquire similarity values of the first webpage and the second webpage. The invention further provides a system using the method. An efficient and automatic webpage effects test can be realized by the Diff scoring method.
