The floating platform stabilizer comprises a winch, a chain stopper and a solid steel ball. The winch is connected with the solid steel ball through a steel cable and controls chain length of the solid steel ball. The chain stopper is arranged between the solid steel ball and the winch and fixes chain length of the solid steel ball. The solid steel ball is connected with a lowermost deck of a floating platform in a suspended manner. When the floating platform encounters extremely severe sea conditions, oscillation and shift of the platform body can be reduced by the floating platform stabilizer, pull force of the mooring cable can be reduced, feasibility of the floating platform under the severe sea conditions is improved, and platform safety is guaranteed.
