Abstract

The invention belongs to a biological indicator for rapid estimation of an ionizing radiation dose, and in particular relates to an application of soluble receptor tyrosine kinase AXL (sAXL) serving as the biological indicator for the rapid estimation of the ionizing radiation dose. After radiation, the concentration of the sAXL in serum or plasma is decreased along with the increase of the radiation dose, so that a good dose-effect relationship is formed after a period of radiation and can be detected rapidly by methods which are simple and easy to implement, such as ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay) and protein chips. During the detection, the required sample quantity is small; and the sampling is carried out conveniently. Thus, the sAXL can be taken as the biological indicator for the rapid estimation of the ionizing radiation dose. In addition, the ionizing radiation dose of a human body or an animal subjected to the ionizing radiation can be estimated by utilizing the content of the sAX in serum or plasma.
