The power-supply work station comprises an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip, a local power supply connected with the FPGA chip, a master SDRAM (Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory), a slavery SDRAM, a local data acquiring chip, a power supply management module and a network transformer, wherein the local data acquiring chip is connected with an acquisition driving module of the FPGA chip, the master SDRAM and the slavery SDRAM are respectively connected with an SDRAM ping-pong control module of the FPGA chip, and the network transformer is connected with a power supply control module of the FPGA chip via the power supply management module. According to the invention, data acquiring, buffering, forwarding and power supplying functions are integrated, a ping-pong buffering work mode is employed, and the work station and method are helpful for realization of large-scale seismic prospecting instrument systems, especially systems without limitations of channels.
