Abstract

The method comprises the steps that a UE receives an MRO start signal sent by a source network element; the UE starts an MRO function according to the MRO start signal; the MRO function comprises that the UE records an RLF information unit to an RLF report when the RLF is determined to occur; the UE reports to the source network element about the RLF report so that the source network element determines, according to the RLF report, whether the UE switches too early, too late or switches to the wrong cell between a source cell of a first network system and a target cell of a second network standard. The embodiment of the invention also provides a corresponding device. The method for detecting switchover mobility problems between different network types and the device are used for solving switching mobility problems.
