A functional model is built according to parameters obtained through the curve, and a relation among the distance to the tunnel exit, the speed and the tunnel optimized illumination is obtained according to calculation. By means of the method, a dark adaptation problem caused by illumination difference during driving in a tunnel environment at night can be solved, traffic accidents caused by vision disturbance are reduced, and tunnel lighting device power consumption can be greatly reduced.
