The automobile-mounted navigation system comprises an information input device, a GPS (Global Position System) module, a wireless communication module, an automobile-mounted controller and a display device, wherein the automobile-mounted controller determines a path strategy; the path strategy is that whether the length of a first shortest path exceeds a first distance threshold is judged; if so, the first shortest path, and N paths avoiding a traffic jam intersection with a shortest path between the intersection and a current position less than a second distance threshold, and avoiding a disaster weather site with a shortest path between the disaster weather site and a current position less than a third distance threshold are provided for a driver to select; and if not, navigation is performed according to a normal navigation mode. With the adoption of the design, traffic jam and weather situations of short distance and long distance travels can be considered discriminatively, and an optimal path can be determined.
