Problems solved by technology

The temperature in the northern region can often reach minus 40°C, and the general equipment is in an unattended area. Cables working under such conditions should have good low temperature resistance and certain flame retardancy. General plastics, chlorinated poly Vinyl rubber doesn't work well at these low temperatures

Embodiment

[0014] Example: A low-temperature-resistant flame-retardant rubber cable sheath material. In the rubber cable sheath material, chlorinated polyethylene and EPDM rubber are blended to improve the low-temperature performance of the material. At the same time, by adding flame retardant three Antimony oxide and chlorinated paraffin act synergistically to improve the flame retardancy of rubber sheathing materials, specifically, antimony trichloride (Sb 2 x 3 ), antimony trichloride can be used as a free radical capture agent in the gas phase combustion zone, which can effectively capture free radicals generated by polymer combustion, play a flame retardant role, and achieve flame retardancy. The oxygen index of the sheath material is greater than 32% , Also, the physical and mechanical properties of the rubber sheath material are improved by adding reinforcing agent carbon black and precipitated silica, so that the tensile strength of the sheath material is greater than 10MPa, and ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a low-temperature-resistance flame-retardant rubber cable sheath material. The material is prepared by the following steps of mixing 30 percent of chlorinated polyethylene and 10 percent of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer in an internal mixer for 3-4 minutes; adding 0.5 percent of lead monoxide, 290 percent of calcium carbonate, 0.5 percent of N-cumene-N'-phenyl p-phenylenediamine, 3 percent of antimonous oxide, 0.1 percent of magnesium oxide, 5 percent of paraffin hydrocarbon oil and 5 percent of chlorinated paraffin into the internal mixer; finally adding 1 percent of paraffin, 5 percent high-abrasion-resistance carbon black, 3 percent of precipitated silica, 5 percent of talc powder and 0.1 percent of gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, and discharging a mixed sizing material from the internal mixer when the temperature is 90-100 DEG C; mixing the rolled mixed sizing material in the internal mixer, and adding 1.5 percent of dicumyl peroxide and 1.3 percent of 1,3,5-triallylisocyanuric acid when the mixing temperature is 90-120 DEG C. The material can pass a minus 40 DEG C low-temperature brittle experiment, has excellent low temperature resistance, has an oxygen index of more than 32, and is good in flame retardant performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a cable sheath material, in particular to a low temperature resistant flame retardant rubber cable sheath material. Background technique [0002] China has a vast land, which makes the climate very different, and the huge temperature difference puts forward higher requirements for our cable materials. The temperature in the northern region can often reach minus 40°C, and the general equipment is in an unattended area. Cables working under such conditions should have good low temperature resistance and certain flame retardancy. General plastics, chlorinated poly Vinyl rubber doesn't work well at these low temperatures. Contents of the invention [0003] The object of the present invention is to provide a low-temperature-resistant flame-retardant rubber cable sheath material, which can pass the low-temperature embrittlement test at minus 40°C, has excellent low-temperature resistance, and has an oxygen index greater than 32. ...
