Abstract

The invention discloses a multipath detection method and an apparatus. The method comprises the following steps: a multipath search task is received, wherein the multipath search task contains indicator information of hardware resources which are allowed at time quantum of different lengths; hardware resources are allocated for the multipath search task; and multipath detection is carried out on the multipath search task according to the allocated hardware resources. By the method, the technical problem that hardware resources for multipath search cannot be effectively controlled in the prior art is solved, and time division multiplexing of hardware resources is realized. Thus, utilization rate of hardware resources in multipath detection is raised.
