Abstract

A step-up / step-down DC-DC converter and its control circuit and control method. The invention provides a control circuit and a control method capable of realizing a high-efficiency step-up / step-down DC-DC converter. In state (1), the terminal (Tx) of the choke coil is connected to the input terminal, and the terminal (Ty) is connected to the reference potential. In the state (2), the terminal (Tx) is connected to the reference potential, and the terminal (Ty) is connected to the output terminal. In the state (3), the terminal (Tx) is connected to the input terminal, and the terminal (Ty) is connected to the output terminal.
