Abstract

Disclosed are a file storage method and an electronic device. The file storage method includes providing a plurality of original files in a storage system; searching an original first file and an original second file both satisfying a condition from the original files, and regarding the original first file and the original second file as same files; modifying the original second file into a modified second file. According to the method, content of the original second file is deleted and replaced by a path link leading to a storage position of the original first file, and thus the original first file which the path link leads to is opened according to the path link when a command for opening the modified second file is received.
