Abstract

A fold lock delivery system capable of percutaneous delivery of a suture lock assembly. The folding lock delivery system includes a lock assembly, a control assembly, and a catheter assembly. The lock assembly secures the suture in place, and the control assembly allows the clinician to secure the suture to the lock assembly, apply tension to the suture to cause tissue folding, and deploy the lock assembly. The fold-lock delivery system can be used in percutaneous or open-chest surgery to repair mitral regurgitation.
