Abstract

The invention provides a temperature-control volume change apparatus. The volume change apparatus comprises an outer shaft chamber and an inner shaft chamber. An inner piezometer tube is arranged at the top of the inner shaft chamber. An outer piezometer tube is arranged on the pedestal. A lug boss is formed at the central position of the pedestal. Experimental soil samples are arranged on the lug boss. Pressure difference signals of pressures of the inner shaft chamber and the outer piezometer tube are transmitted to a computer for read through a differential pressure sensor. The volume change apparatus realizes application of back pressure on soil samples through an air compressor and measurement of interior pore water pressure of soil samples through a sensor.
