Problems solved by technology

Generally, the reaction of hydrofluoric acid needs to add a certain amount of silica powder to generate silicofluoric acid after exothermic reaction, but it cannot be fully reacted completely during the reaction process, and the remaining hydrofluoric acid needs to react with lead oxide. lead oxide, resulting in higher production costs

Embodiment 1

[0022] Described carbonate is selected as calcium bicarbonate

[0023] 2HF+Ca(HCO 3 ) 2 ->CaF 2 +2H 2 O+2CO 2

[0024] Calcium bicarbonate can react with hydrofluoric acid to remove hydrofluoric acid, and then add lead oxide to avoid the reaction between hydrofluoric acid and lead oxide, thereby reducing the use of lead oxide and reducing costs.

Embodiment 2

[0026] Described carbonate is selected as calcium carbonate

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for adding carbonate into lead electrolyte to treat hydrofluoric acid. The lead electrolyte is lead silicofluoride obtained through reaction between industrial silicofluoric acid and lead oxide. The method comprises the following steps of (1) adding silica powder into the industrial silicofluoric acid, wherein the silica powder reacts with hydrofluoric acid to generate silicofluoride, so as to remove a part of the hydrofluoric acid; (2) adding a certain amount of carbonate, and adding the lead oxide after the hydrofluoric acid is removed. The method has the beneficial effects that the using amount of the lead oxide is reduced; the added carbonate is low in cost, so that the cost can be effectively lowered.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of chemical industry, in particular to a method for treating hydrofluoric acid by adding carbonate to lead electrolyte. Background technique [0002] Lead electrolyte has a wide range of uses, for example, it can be used as the electrolyte of lead-acid batteries. The lead electrolyte is usually obtained by reacting industrial fluorosilicic acid and lead oxide to obtain lead fluorosilicate. The response is as follows: [0003] h 2 SiF 6 +PbO->PbSiF 6 +H 2 o [0004] Hydrofluoric acid in industrial fluorosilicic acid will react with lead oxide and consume lead oxide. Therefore, industrial fluorosilicic acid needs to be purified when making lead electrolyte to remove the hydrofluoric acid content in industrial fluorosilicic acid. Generally, the reaction of hydrofluoric acid needs to add a certain amount of silica powder to produce fluorosilicic acid after exothermic reaction, but it cannot be fully r...
